Serena Pearson has had a longstanding enthusiasm and intuition for therapeutic touch, first training in Swedish Massage in 1999. Appreciating the link between emotionally, mentally and physically feeling well, Serena has a passion for treating chronic or recurring pain associated with mental health issues, trauma history and life stress. She deeply values the mind-body-spirit connection.

On her professional journey she has invested in further training in order to better meet the needs of clients and is committed to Continuing Professional Development. After some years as a full-time Mum, Serena undertook training in Remedial and Sports Massage. This gave her a practical approach to assessing and treating pain and injury. She then became attuned to Reiki, allowing a more ethereal approach to assist clients healing, and she incorporates a Mindful approach to treatments. Thereafter she gained interest in CranioSacral Therapy after experiencing its far-reaching benefits herself. So far she has completed three levels of training through the Upledger Institute. She has also attended two virtual Trauma Summits and various bodywork conferences to enhance her skillset.

This professional journey – influenced by what clients brought her and Serena’s own personal healing – allows her to incorporate different skills and techniques both to her loyal client base and newcomers. She treats empathically and with understanding of the many contributing factors that bring people to her looking for support and relief. Serena incorporates her knowledge and intuition to tailor treatment appropriately, depending on how a client is presenting at the time.
