Myofascial Release

A therapeutic massage with a focus on myofascial release, used release tension and restrictions in the fascia (connective tissue) of the body, helping to reduce pain and improve mobility.

myofascial release massage

Myofascial release massage is a hands-on technique that we use to treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. MFR involves applying sustained pressure to the myofascial tissues, which are the connective tissues that surround and support muscles, bones, and organs throughout the body. This pressure helps to release adhesions or restrictions in the tissue, which can cause pain, stiffness, and limited range of motion.

During a myofascial release massage session, our trained therapists will use a combination of gentle stretching, massage, and pressure techniques to identify areas of tension and dysfunction in the myofascial tissues. By working with these tissues, we can help to improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and promote healing and recovery.

At NTT, we may recommend myofascial release massage as part of a comprehensive treatment plan for conditions such as back pain, neck pain, headaches, fibromyalgia, and sports injuries. We believe in taking a holistic approach to patient care, and we work closely with each client to develop a customised treatment plan that addresses their individual needs and goals.
